A Mistfall Hunter build planner built for sharing

Most of the interesting Mistfall Hunter build talk happens in places where a build is hard to show: Discord threads, Reddit comments, party chat between raids into the Gyldenmist. People end up typing out skill lists from memory, or posting screenshots that go stale one patch later. Mistfall Builds exists to close that gap — it is a build planner where the finished build is not a screenshot or a wall of text but a single link that anyone can open, inspect and edit.

The planner covers the full build structure of the game as of the July 30, 2026 update: all six classes, the complete pool of 100 weapon skills across 11 weapon types, 240 class talents with their prerequisites and unlock levels, and 44 gear affix names across 8 equipment slots. Class names and weapon pairings are verified against official announcements, and every list is cross-checked between independent community databases before it ships here.

If you already know what you want to make, open the build editor and start clicking. If you are still deciding, the class-by-class overview below summarises what each class brings to a build, with real numbers from the game data rather than marketing copy.

How Mistfall Hunter builds work in this planner

A Mistfall Hunter build has three moving parts — skills, talents and gear affixes — and the planner mirrors exactly how the game gates each of them. Understanding those gates is most of what separates a coherent build from a wish list.

Skills are unlocked by weapons, not classes

Every one of the 100 skills in the game belongs to one or two of 11 weapon types — Staff, Catalyst, Dual Blades, Dagger, Bow, Javelin, Greatsword, Hammer, Mace, Sword and Shield, and Polearm and Shield. Your class determines which weapon stances you can equip, and your weapons determine which skills you can slot. The planner enforces this automatically: pick Shadowstrix and you will only ever be offered Dagger and Dual Blades skills; pick Seer and the pool switches to Catalyst and Mace. Officially, every class masters two weapon stances and swaps between them mid-fight — the Sorcerer is the single exception, committing entirely to the Staff and its outsized spell pool.

In the editor you can slot up to eight skills per build. That cap is a planner convention for readable sharing rather than an in-game rule — it keeps shared builds focused on the loadout that matters instead of listing an entire skill book.

Talents are a budget of 8 points with prerequisites

Each class has its own talent list — 240 talents across the six classes — and you earn 8 talent points on the way to the level cap of 12. Talents unlock by character level as you progress, and a number of them have prerequisites: you cannot take a dependent talent until the talent it requires is already in your build. The planner enforces both rules, greys out anything you have not unlocked the requirements for, and cascades removals — deselect a prerequisite and everything that depended on it is removed too, so a shared build can never contain an illegal talent combination.

Because the budget is eight points against dozens of options, talent choice is where most Mistfall Hunter build identity actually lives: two Shadowstrix builds with the same daggers can play completely differently depending on whether the points went into ambush effects or sustained bleeds.

Gear affixes are recorded by name, on purpose

The game rolls affixes on gear in 8 slots — Weapon, Head, Chest, Hands, Legs, Feet, Necklace and Ring. The planner tracks up to four affix names per slot from the pool of 44 known affixes, split into weapon and armor pools the same way the game splits them. What it deliberately does not track is numbers: no rolls, no ranges, no damage simulations. Affix values shift patch by patch and are the territory of dedicated database sites; what a shared build needs to communicate is which affixes to hunt for on which slots, and that is exactly what the link carries.

Plan builds for every Mistfall Hunter class

Every class below links straight into the build editor with that class pre-selected. The numbers are generated from the planner's own dataset, so they stay in step with the data version noted at the bottom of the page.

Blackarrow class crestBlackarrowbuilds

The Blackarrow is the ranged specialist among Mistfall Hunter classes, switching between Bow and Javelin weapon stances. Bow skills reward keeping distance and lining up precise shots, while the Javelin stance adds mid-range pressure and mobility tools, so most Blackarrow builds decide early which stance carries the damage and which one covers escapes.

In the planner the Blackarrow draws from 12 skills across Bow and Javelin, and a tree of 29 talents unlocking from level 2 to level 12, 4 of which have prerequisites you need to path through. Early talent picks include Battle-fed, Dodge Power Shot, Dodge Rapid Shot, Lasting Pain; on the skill side the pool opens with the likes of Divine Infusion, Frostblight Bomb, Impact Grenade, Predator's Senses.

Mercenary class crestMercenarybuilds

The Mercenary pairs Sword and Shield with the two-handed Hammer, making it the most flexible frontline pick for a Mistfall Hunter build. Shield skills bring blocks and control for surviving extended brawls, while Hammer skills convert that safety into heavy burst, so Mercenary builds usually split their loadout between defensive stance tools and charge-up damage.

In the planner the Mercenary draws from 13 skills across Sword and Shield and Hammer, and a tree of 49 talents unlocking from level 2 to level 12, 17 of which have prerequisites you need to path through. Early talent picks include Blade Charge, Block Damage Boost, Combo Energy Recovery, Hammer of Convergence; on the skill side the pool opens with the likes of Earthshaker, Hammer Dash, Hammer Spin, Impalement.

Seer class crestSeerbuilds

The Seer channels Catalyst and Mace stances, mixing support magic with real melee swings. Catalyst skills carry wards, healing and utility runes, while the Mace side gives the Seer a credible frontline threat, so Seer builds range from dedicated trio support to self-sufficient solo hybrids.

In the planner the Seer draws from 25 skills across Catalyst and Mace, and a tree of 49 talents unlocking from level 2 to level 11, 6 of which have prerequisites you need to path through. Early talent picks include Divine Power, Ebb and Flow, Enhanced Tracking, Ferocity; on the skill side the pool opens with the likes of Binding Rune, Blinding Rune, Burst Rune, Death Ward.

Shadowstrix class crestShadowstrixbuilds

The Shadowstrix is the assassin of the roster, fighting through Dagger and Dual Blades stances. Its skill pool is packed with stealth, gap closers and burst windows, and its talent tree leans into bleed and ambush effects — the reason "rat meta" Shadowstrix builds dominate so many PvP discussions.

In the planner the Shadowstrix draws from 12 skills across Dagger and Dual Blades, and a tree of 40 talents unlocking from level 2 to level 10, 4 of which have prerequisites you need to path through. Early talent picks include Ascetic Technique, Bloodthirst Frenzy, Element of Surprise, Frequency Shift; on the skill side the pool opens with the likes of Bloody Blade Dance, Crow Storm, Fang Rush, Flash Stride.

Sorcerer class crestSorcererbuilds

The Sorcerer is the only single-stance class in Mistfall Hunter, committing fully to the Staff. Instead of swapping weapons it swaps spell packages, with the largest skill pool in the game to draw from — elemental bolts, armors, wards and area denial — so Sorcerer builds are defined almost entirely by which schools you slot.

In the planner the Sorcerer draws from 24 skills across Staff, and a tree of 32 talents unlocking from level 2 to level 12, 4 of which have prerequisites you need to path through. Early talent picks include Chant Guard, Elemental Arcana, Elemental Surge, Masterful Technique; on the skill side the pool opens with the likes of Arcane Armor, Cryptic Ward, Crystal Icebolt, Deep Freeze.

Withered Knight class crestWithered Knightbuilds

The Withered Knight fights in Greatsword and Polearm and Shield stances, trading speed for reach and staying power. Its talents reward committing to drawn-out fights, and the Polearm and Shield stance (added in the July 30 update) gives tank-leaning builds a proper defensive frame to build around.

In the planner the Withered Knight draws from 14 skills across Greatsword and Polearm and Shield, and a tree of 41 talents unlocking from level 2 to level 10, 14 of which have prerequisites you need to path through. Early talent picks include Auto Execution, Bad Karma, Brute Force, Collective Punishment; on the skill side the pool opens with the likes of Breaker Shield Bash, Breakthrough Charge, Intervene, Javelin Thrust.

Share a Mistfall Hunter build as a single link

Everything you do in the editor is encoded into the URL as you click — class, skills, talents, affixes and the build name. There is no save step because there is nothing to save: the link in the address bar is the build, and it keeps working as long as this site exists. Copy it with one tap, or use Copy share text to get a formatted summary ready to paste into Discord or a Reddit comment.

When a build link lands in Discord or on Reddit it unfolds into a preview card — class crest, build name and the core skills, rendered in the same gilded style as the site — so a thread can see what a build is at a glance before anyone clicks. And because every link is forkable, the person who opens your build can tweak two talents and share back a link of their own without touching yours. Argue about the details, fork, repeat: that is the whole workflow.

The three-part flow is deliberately boring: build it, copy it, paste it. No export codes, no image generators, no accounts on either end.

Mistfall Hunter build planner FAQ

Is there a build planner for Mistfall Hunter?

Yes — Mistfall Builds is a free Mistfall Hunter build planner that covers all six classes. You pick a class, select skills from its weapon pool, spend talent points and note gear affixes, and the whole build is captured in a shareable link. No download and no sign-up are required; it runs in any browser, including on your phone.

Do I need an account to save my Mistfall Hunter build?

No. This planner has no accounts and no save button by design. Every change you make is encoded into the page URL in real time — the link in your address bar is the build. Bookmark it, paste it into Discord, or send it to a friend: opening the link restores the exact class, skills, talents and affixes.

How do I share a Mistfall Hunter build on Discord or Reddit?

Use the Copy link button for the raw URL, or Copy share text for a pre-formatted summary with the build name, skills and talents plus the link. When the link is posted on Discord or Reddit it unfolds into a preview card showing the class crest, build name and core skills, so people can see what the build is before they click.

Can I edit someone else's build?

Yes — every shared build is forkable. Open the link, change anything, and the URL updates to describe your version while the original link keeps pointing at the original build. There is nothing to clone or request access for; a fork is just a new link.

Does the planner include damage numbers or affix values?

No, and that is deliberate. The planner records build structure — which skills, which talents, which affix names on which gear slots — without stat values, because values shift with every patch and are covered in depth by dedicated database sites. Structure is what you need to communicate a build; values are what you check in game.

Which game version is the planner's data based on?

All class, skill, talent and affix data is anchored to the July 30, 2026 update, the latest patch published on the official Steam news feed at the time of the last data pass. Class names and weapon pairings were verified against official announcements; list data is cross-checked between two independent community databases, and the few entries that only a single source carries are flagged as unverified in our data files.

Does the build planner work on mobile?

Yes. The editor is built for phones as much as desktop: pickers open as bottom sheets, tap targets are sized for thumbs, and the share bar stays fixed at the bottom of the screen. Planning and sharing a full build from a 375-pixel-wide phone screen is a tested, first-class flow.

Is Mistfall Builds an official tool?

No — Mistfall Builds is an unofficial, fan-made planner and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bellring Games or Skystone Games. Game assets and artwork remain the property of their owners and are credited on every page.

Game data as of the 2026-07-30 update. Sources are documented per entry — class and weapon pairings from official announcements, list data cross-checked across community databases.
